With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching quickly, it is a good time to focus on gratitude. Practicing gratitude is a self-care strategy that has been proven to help overall wellness. Writing in a grateful journal, telling someone you are thankful for them or praying to thank God for the blessing you have are just a few ways to change your mindset to an attitude of gratitude. Family Activity

A great activity for this time of year is a thankful pumpkin. All you need is a pumpkin and a permanent marker. Family members add things they are thankful for to the pumpkin. At the end of November or on Thanksgiving Day, read all the things listed on the pumpkin.
